We’ve been keeping busy here! We just returned from a road trip to Mississippi and a visit with my family and special friends. We planned to leave in the evening and drive while the girls were sleeping. Well…you know how plans go when you have little ones. Out the door! We got stuck in Atlanta traffic, thankfully next to a truck full of cows. They entertained Mary Peyton for maybe 3 minutes. Next came a thunderstorm which included hail…so we decided to get a hotel on the way.
Mary Peyton has never slept anywhere but a crib so trying to get her to sleep in a big bed was fun. Would have been more fun if it wasn’t 1 a.m. But we still made a memory.
We had a great time with my family and all the travel efforts were definitely worth it! Mary Peyton also had field day at school today. So cute. She had lots of fun and we both got to be there to watch her play. Here are a few shots we got of her in action.

I’m so impressed you guys made a road trip with two, and one so little. I’m wondering if I’ll ever leave the house again after this baby comes – hee hee!
