Mary Peyton turned 1 on Friday and Steve and I could hardly believe it. It’s strange that a year has gone by. This week for us was filled with memories of “this time last year we were…” Steve got MP out of bed and started singing Happy Birthday to her. The sweetest thing. We had a party Saturday with family and friends. Lots of fun. It seemed like I opened all the gifts while MP played with some random toy that she’s had since she was a baby. Funny how it works that way. We were blessed with such a special time. We didn’t get the best shots because we were busy hosting and keeping MP from getting too overwhelmed. Others got some great shots that maybe we’ll share later.
There are also a few pics of MP in her “Harvest Party” costume. She’ll be wearing it to school on Thursday and she thinks it is the funniest thing when we put it on her. Steve also took MP on her 1st field trip last week to another local pumpkin patch. He’s such a great dad.
So next we’ll be working on getting rid of the bottle and the paci, one at a time of course…bottle first. if anyone has great suggestions, we’ll take them. We’ll be working on the bottle this week. Yikes!!
Here’s some pics
